Half Marathon takes place the day before on Saturday the 4th July, 2026.

Marathon start time: 6:15am.
Cut-off: 6 hours 40 minutes.
Half-Marathon start time: 6:15am.
Cut-off: 3 hours 20 minutes.

Course: The marathon course has a reputation as one of the flattest and fastest courses in the world. The course traditionally runs up and back along the coast allowing runners to pass the beautiful beaches from Paradise Point in the north to Burleigh Heads in the south. Over 60% of participants achieve a personal best time each year making it a perfect place to qualify for the BAA Boston Marathon Abbotts World Marathon Major.
