4 Night Marrakech to Merzouga Desert Tour, with Camel Ride and Desert Camp Stay

Experience the Moroccan Sahara Desert on a 4-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga. Spend the night at a Bedouin camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes. Ride a camel to watch the sunset and sunrise. See the Kasbah of Ouarzazate, and much more. End the trip with 1 final night in Marrakech before travelling home on Friday.

1 Feb 2027: Marrakech to Ouarzazate

• Departure from Marrakech at ~ 07:30
• Travel through the High Atlas Mountains with photo stops and scenic views
• Visit Kasbah Ait Benhaddou
• Visit Atlas Studios
• 1 night stay at 5* Berbere Palace Hotel, Ouarzazate
• Dinner included
• Approx. 4 hours travelling, stops throughout

2 Feb 2027: Ouarzazate to Merzouga

• Departure at ~ 09:00
• Visit Kelaat M’gouna
• Camel ride to the camp or 4×4 vehicle
• 1 night stay in a private luxury tent in Merzouga
• Breakfast and Dinner included
• Approx. 5 hours travelling, stops throughout

3 Feb 2027: Merzouga to Todra Gorges to Dades

• Departure at ~ 09:00
• Visit Todra Gorges
• Visit Boumalne Dades
• 1 night stay in Kasbah in Dades
• Breakfast and Dinner included
• Approx. 5 hours travelling, stops throughout

4 Feb 2027: Dades to Marrakech

• Departure at ~ 09:00
• Drive back to Marrakech with a stop for lunch (cost of lunch not included)
• Return to Marrakech ~ 19:00
• 1 night stay at Kenzi Rose Garden hotel
• Breakfast included
• Approx. 5 hours travelling, stops throughout

 A camel ride is a quintessential Moroccan experience that provides unique photo opportunities and a sense of adventure, all whilst exploring the city’s landscapes and culture!

Trip includes all transport as well as the following:

• 1 x night stay in a hotel in Ouarzazate
• 1 x night stay in a private luxury tent in Merzouga
• 1 x night stay in a  hotel in Dades
• 1 x night stay at Kenzi Rose Garden Hotel, Marrakech
• Camel ride / 4×4 vehicle to camp
• Breakfast and Dinner (as outlined above)
• English speaking guide with group throughout

Important:
Although there is a lot of travel time involved each day on the extension, our guests and staff who have previously taken part in the desert trip have advised the route is scenic and the locations visited and experiences shared are well worth the distance travelled. Please also be aware that due to the nature of the extension and time of year, weather conditions are unpredictable and can sometimes cause delays, increasing travel time on the road. Changes may be made to the above itinerary to ensure the groups safety.
