26 Oct 2026 Monday: Kangerlussuaq to Ilulissat 

After our exciting days in Kangerlussuaq, we will fly to Ilulissat and check in at Hotel Hvide Falk, offering stunning views of the Disko Bay. 

When we've settled in, our tour leader will take you on a guided walking tour through this picturesque town, exploring iconic sights like the Zion Church and the fish market, as well as giving an introduction to the towns many activites.

27 Oct 2026 Tuesday: Ilulissat and the Icefjord

A UNESCO World Heritage site, the Icefjord is a marvel of nature and glacial science. After breakfast, we will embark on a 2-hour boat trip for an up-close view of these "floating mountains"—a perfect photo opportunity and an unforgettable experience. Bring warm clothes! The afternoon is free for shopping, hiking, or optional excursions, weather permitting.

28 Oct 2026 Wednesday: Ilulissat and Sermermiut Valley

After breakfast, we will take a must-do hike to the Sermermiut Valley, about 2 km south of Ilulissat. Starting at the old heliport, we will follow a wooden path into the UNESCO area, passing the ancient ruins of Sermermiut, where Inuit people have lived for over 4,000 years. 

Along the way, we will encounter old turf house ruins before reaching Nakkaavik, a cliff with a haunting history—ask your guide about its name! (Note: The hike may be rescheduled based on weather and excursion availability.)

The afternoon is yours to spend as you wish, or you can join one of our fascinating excursions.

In the morning we will fly to Nuuk and board the flight to Copenhagen, arriving in the evening (CET). Due to connection times, we do not recommend booking a same day flight home. Post-nights can be booked at Hotel Hebron in Copenhagen.
