Wednesday, September 2 – Arrival in Jordan and transfer to The Dead Sea
You'll be greeted with big smiles at the Queen Alia International Airport (AMM), from where we will guide you to the bus that will bring you to your hotel at the Dead Sea. There is no set arrival time, so you can book the most suitable flight from your departure airport.
Transfer is included in the package and will be arranged according to your arrival. There might be other participants arriving at the same time as you, so you will be sharing the bus with them.
After check-in at the hotel, you have the rest of the day/evening free at your own leisure.

*Note: Many flights to Amman arrive at night. Hotel check-in is normally at 15:00, so if you arrive at night and want your room to be available, we recommend you book a pre-night. Airport representative and transfer to the Dead Sea are included for pre-night bookings
Thursday, September 3 – The Dead Sea
Today begins at the Dead Sea — the lowest point on Earth — with a delicious breakfast at the hotel. The day is all about relaxing by the pool or floating effortlessly in the salty waters of this natural wonder.
Nearly 10 times saltier than the ocean, the Dead Sea is famous for its healing properties and so is the perfect place to unwind and recharge before the big challenge ahead.
Ready to dive into culture? You can join us for a full day excursion where we visit the historical and spiritual gems of Jordan: Mt.Nebo, Madaba and the Baptism Site.

Friday, September 4 – Exploration of the "Red Rose City"
After breakfast, we check out of our hotel and start our journey to Wadi Musa (Petra) by bus at 09:00. The drive will take about 4 hours. Once we arrive, a lunch with local delicacies will await us.
After checking in at 15:00, we'll have some time to settle in before continuing on an exploration of the illustrious Red Rose City of Petra. Included in your tour package is a 3-day entry to Petra (4-6 September).
As the sun sets, all runners will meet at tomorrow’s finish area for a race briefing, where the race officials and medical team will answer any final questions you may have about race day.
Our day ends with a pasta dinner served at our respective hotel restaurants, perfect for carb-loading in preparation for tomorrow’s Race Day.

Saturday, September 5 – Race Day ! Petra Desert Marathon & Half-Marathon
The day we've all been waiting for! After a light breakfast, all runners meet outside the Petra Visitor Centre at 05:45. At 06:00, we'll walk together to the starting line.
*Note: If you have personal belongings to use after the race, you can drop them off at the Visitor Centre before 05:30. Remember to mark your bag with BIB-number and Name. See here for more information.
At 06:30 the race starts, for both marathon and 25 km runners. As Petra is not open to the public at that time of day, runners will get the unique experience of seeing Petra without the crowds.
In the evening, we offer you an opportunity to put your culinary skills to the test with a delicious Jordanian cooking class. This can be booked along with your tour package.

Sunday, September 6 – Dive into Petra & Celebration Dinner
Today we get to explore Petra’s full glory and learn about the impressive history of this beautiful gem. After breakfast, we will walk to Petra Visitor Centre, where our walking guided tour begins. We'll spend some time exploring the area and have lunch on our own, after which we'll head back to our hotel.
You have the option to spend your time relaxing and recovering from yesterday’s adventure at one of the Turkish baths or spas in the area - or explore Wadi Musa's delicious restaurant scene.
In the evening, all participants will dive into the desert for a Celebration Dinner, commemorating your accomplishments! Enjoy drinking, dining and dancing under the stars!

Monday, September 7 – Farewell to Jordan or Hello Extension
Sadly, this is where we bid farewell. Check out needs to be done before 12:00 (noon).
Four transfers to the airport are available with the following arrival times: 05:00, 08:00, 13:00 and 18:00.
It is possible to book a different transfer to Queen Alia International Airport if the above-scheduled group transfers don't fit your onward journey (extra charge).
*Participants who booked the marathon-extension will start their adventure after breakfast.
