The 2026 Comrades Marathon is expected to be an UP RUN on Sunday 14 June, which will be the 99th running of the Comrades Marathon. The UP RUN starts in Durban and finishes in Pietermaritzburg, with the race distance will be announced later but is usually between 86 & 89km. First run in 1921, this marathon is a personal challenge of mind and body, for which you have 12 hours to finish. The course is famous for endless hills in impressive scenery, as well as camaraderie, unique traditions and its history. It’s an event you will not forget and truly is life changing.
