Start Times: From 08:15am to 10:50am (TBC) 

 

Course (TBC): The start line of the Paris Marathon 2026 is on the famous Champs Elysees Avenue, in front of the Arc de Triomphe. Runners head towards and around Place De la Concorde before turning right into Rue de Rivoli. This section takes you past Hotel de Ville, Place de la Bastille and through a more residential area on the eastern edge of the city before you enter Bois de Vincennes park and see the Chateau de Vincennes. A wide loop of the Bois de Vincennes returns runners to the heart of the city and along the river Seine, past Notre Dame cathedral, the Louvre, Musee d’Orsay and the Eiffel Tower before you enter the Bois de Boulogne park. 5km of the course takes you around the park before you finally and triumphantly finish in the wide and spacious Avenue Foch. In a nutshell, Paris in the spring, together with one of the biggest sightseeing marathons in the world is an incredible experience you won’t forget. Find course details and map here.

Starting Times and Bib Numbers: Although we are licensed to sell official entries for the Paris Marathon 2026, we have no influence over the allocation of starting times and bib numbers.

Closer to the event we will send you a link which will allow you to complete the registration process for the Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris 2026. Once you have finalised the registration process, the race organisers will allocate you a starting time and bib based on the information provided.

 

Race Rules: Our website and details regarding the race are based on current information available at the time this package was released for sale. Whilst we expect the details to remain correct, changes are possible and will be confirmed nearer to the trip after the race organisers have confirmed final instructions. All race rules and procedures need to be followed.

 

Time Limits: The course time limit is six hours from the last participant crossing the start line.

 

Eligibility & Participation Conditions: To take part in this event, the participant must have been born in 2005 or earlier.

No medical certificate will be required in 2026 for foreign participants. The old medical certificate is replaced by the PPS, to obtain a PPS participants must complete the HPC (Health Prevention Course) which is a form that the runner completes online within 3 months of the race date. The resulting PPS must be uploaded by the participant to their registration account within the guidelines specified. This is a requirement to follow in order to collect your race number.

 

Weather: Average temperatures range between 10C to 17C (50F to 63F).

 

Awards: Every runner receives a commemorative finisher t-shirt and upon finishing received a finisher’s medal and refreshments.

 

Event difficulty: Easy to Moderate.
