A safari at Kapama is the essence of your journey, offering two daily game drives that reveal the wilderness in its many moods. Early mornings and late afternoons are the ideal times for game viewing, when dawn’s gentle light stirs the bush to life, and dusk signals the start of the nocturnal world.

No two drives are ever the same. One morning, you may find giraffes moving gracefully through the acacia woodlands, silhouetted against the sunrise, while by evening, the soft call of nightjars and guineafowl marks the close of day as the first stars appear. Each drive offers the possibility of encountering **Africa’s Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo—**in their natural habitat, along with a host of other wildlife that share this landscape.

 Winter Morning Safari

•  05:30 Wake-up call
• 06:00 Meet for tea, coffee, homemade pastries and fresh fruit
• 6:30 Depart from the main entrance of the lodge where guides will escort guests to their game vehicle
• Mid-drive stop for hot drinks, homemade rusks and biscuits at a lookout point, watering hole or designated area in the reserve. Your guide and assistant guide always knows the best place to stop
• 09:30 Return to the lodge after an approximate 3-hour drive for a full breakfast

 Winter Afternoon Safari

• 15:30 Gather for refreshments and light snacks
• 16:00 Depart from the main entrance of the lodge
• Mid-drive stop for drinks and snacks
• 19:00 Arrive back at the lodge with time to freshen up before dinner
• 19:30  Dinner is served

EXTENSION ITINERARY   

Monday 2026/5/25    Cape Town - Hoedspruit，Afternoon Game Drive

Transfer from the Pepperclub Hotel to Cape Town Airport.

Flight from Cape town (CPT) to Hoedspruit (HDS) – 10h30/13h00 (or similar).

Transfer from Hoedspruit Airport to Kapama River Lodge.

Afternoon Game Drive in the Private Game Reserve

Tuesday 2026/5/26     

2 Game Drives (one AM, one PM).

Wednesday 2026/5/27   Hoedspruit - Johannesburg

Early morning game drive and breakfast.

Transfer to Hoedspruit Airport.

Flight Hoedspruit (HDS) to Johannesburg (JNB) - 14h30/15h30 (or similar).

End of our Services.

 PACKAGE RATE

 All rates are per person and in RMB (Chinese Yuan) 

IMPORTANT：

• Guests to book connecting flight from JNB after 18h00 27th May, if not the following day (accommodation at or near JNB airport on request).
• This package starts with a minimum of 8 people and is fully booked for 12 people. Seats are limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis! 
• A deposit of RMB 5,000 per person is payable upon booking. The balance is due once the tour is confirmed. Should the tour fail to proceed, the deposit will be refunded.
• No cancellations are permitted after the tour is confirmed.
