Rewarding runners with beautiful steep green hills and endless coastline, this is your opportunity to take in the sights and the sunrise as you race along the hills and white sand beach.
Runners of all levels can take part in the First Light with the option of either the Marathon , Half Marathon or Fun Run 6 km.
Furthermore, Tairāwhiti Gisborne is known as the "Chardonnay Capital" of Aotearoa New Zealand - home to countless wineries, excellent food, and world-class beaches, there is plenty to enjoy after the race is run.
